5 days, building up to a crescendo. when you get that high then there isn’t really anywhere else to go but down. nothing truly substantial can be achieved within the such a short span, and ties that are erected of circumstance and novelty will come crashing to a fall.

yet the ruins is a fertile one, on which stronger bonds may form. i am all too aware of the emptiness that can only follow a fun-induced high, but things do grow in a vacuum.
